Odisha Basketball Association (OBA), under the aegis of Basketball Federation of India (BFI), is hosting the 46th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and Barabati Stadlum, Cuttack from September 3, 2019.
Odisha Athletic Association secretary Asirbad Behera inaugurated the tournament in the presence of basketball Olympian D P Irani, BFI president K Govindaraj, general secretary Chandarmukhi Sharma, treasurer Dr V Raghothaman, OBA president Ashok Kumar Sahu and secretary Gyana Ranjan Parida.
ODISHA RESULTS:
BOYS: Group-F: Match 1: Odisha (Upasak Mohanty 15, Shreyan 13) lost to Chandigarh (Janmejay 25, Ajay 13, Gaurab Malik 12) 56-70. Match 2: Odisha (Upasak Mohanty 12, Pratyush 11) beat Kerala (Immanuel 11, Jonathan 8) 50-35. Match 3: Odisha (Sreyansh Panda 28, Upasak Mohanty 11) beat Puducherry 94-26.
GIRLS: Group D: Match 1: Odisha (?) lost to Madhya Pradesh (Tanu Verma 8, Khusipal Singh 8) 23-32. Match 2: Odisha (P Sabar 10) beat Goa (?) 36-23.
